Kept getting "urgent" voice mail messages that we needed to call this number immediately to discuss an "important legal matter." The message ended with, "call right now." I called and got a man with an African accent who said he was with the U.S. Treasury, and when I explained that I was returning a message that said to call them, he hung up. I did this twice. Don't know what the deal is, but if they're scamming senior citizens, they knew right away I was not their target audience.
Caller claiming to be an officer from legal affairs. Gave his name as Steven O'Bryan, but has a heavy middle Eastern accent. I asked for a callback number but another person named Lisa ( same type of accent) gave the same "you're in legal trouble speel ". This can't be a government related call as they claimed

I repeat that 786-259-0001 if for any reason for your visit go out back I have it says you ask you to have your retain attorney to do it for you as delaying calling us might end up into a legal matter for you. I hope you would take this right and call me back as soon as possible again. this is Kevin Brown from the department of legal affairs looking forward to speak to hear telling you how blessed day and goodbye.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
