I just got the same call from Steve Smith and then a few min. Later, Barry Cooper ( badge number 19960) from Florida called and left a message. I called him back and same thing. From IRS and investigation against me and I can take care of $2561.00 now or I will get thrown in jail. I Am soon sick of these pucks. I really hope hey get caught!
This number literally just called me within minutes ago they said that I had a warrant out for my arrest that they were going to arrest me. Officer was going to be at my house in 45 minutes to take me to jail. Then they said if I had a Rite Aid or something around me that I couldn't go to real quick that they would stay on the phone with me and they would give me directions on how to send them money. While I was on the phone with them my husband called the courthouse and the courthouse said that the IRS does not do this. I was hysterical. None of them spoke English or very well English. I told them that I know people who have messed with the IRS before and have never been threatened like this if they took it out of there next IRS check. The lady told me from the courthouse to hang up and I did so hopefully it is a hoax
