I got a call from a David Williams from Dispute Resolution Center asking about a legal matter. His number is (786) 275-5073. There was a lot of background noises, and he did not speak English very well. When I asked him if it was a scam, he replied, "No, you are a scam." I informed him, "You are scam. I am going to report you to the authorities. Okay, bye." I hung up. I wish the United States had way to stop these types of scams and protect people.
I keep getting calls from this number and I had to end up changing my number as well. They have th last 4 of my ssn and my name and email address when I told him that I was going to conference the police department on the line he hung up. Now that I have a new number I haven't received any of the calls.
I just got 2 calls from a man supposedly by the name of Jonathon Knight, claiming he was an para-legal. I told him to hold on while I got my local police department on a conference call with them. He said he didn't have time for this [***]. Can you say SCAM!!!!
I received a call that was threatnening and how I would be prosecuted by the law and that my social security was under investigation from 786-275-5073. The name of the person that called me was Robert Brown. He said in his message that within 48 hours someone from the police dept. would show up at my door and that I would be prosecuted.
