answered number 784-300-4084 usually don't answer if not recognize but I did. It was a recorded message and someone (can't remember) was away from her desk and would call later. Put # on search engine and 800notes appeared I immediately new it was no one I needed to talk with and blocked the number.
If it is United Health Care it probably was in regards to the $30. a month X 12 they started to charge me last year. use to be FREE. As with a lot of people that have extra policy besides Medicare I use to throw their mail away without reading and wasa unaware of the change from 0 to 30 dollars it and was to late to change policys. Have since changed to Atena its free and better coverage.
I received a call from the number on my house phone. Call it back on my cell. A Brian answered with no business greeting. Caller ID stated My Advocate. After receiving my name and the number they called. I was in formed they were trying to reach someone else. I asked who because I'm in Oh and this is a Florida number. He would not say. After the call ended I received a call on my cell from (786)636-3753. I answered and dead air. I asked if they are going to talk. And they hung up. I called the number back and behold my number is blocked from a cell phone company. I called the number back that called my house to see if I was blocked from that number as well. Then a recording for a business answered that wasn't there the first time. I was on hold for a few seconds. Then a lady answered the phone with a proper business greeting. I gave her the two numbers placed a formal complaint. And was in formed they will try to get to the bottom of this. And to her knowledge they have a 800 number and don't understand how the area code is getting out. She did explain the are a business for health coverage to help people find more affordable coverage. And they work nation wide. But their headquarters is in southern Florida.
Called me saying they were calling about my "insurance." When I asked the lady to tell me the name of the insurance she was calling me about, she hung up.
