(1) Get a call blocking app for your cell phone, call blocking device for a landline. Think of it as security, as you would for a car, or house. (2) DO NOT answer numbers you do not know, DO NOT call them back. If you do decide to take the call & it's not someone you want to talk to- Hang up! DO NOT argue with them. DO NOT ask to be taken off a call list (why would they?) DO NOT answer any questions. DO NOT press any buttons. Just hang up. Then, make sure you do suggestion #1.
Call asking for owner of business. Ask if I was owner, I said no. Person with deep accent said I sound like and had a aurora of an owner. Person said he/she was from Merchants Bank. I told them not to call anymore. I think this is a scam per previous comments saying there were from a US government branch and now they are Merchants Bank.
