This number called twice today - said they were from S&I Construction. Indian accented woman then proceeded to argue with me when I told her we were on the do not call list and it was illegal for them to call. She claimed they "only want to help you". Miami number and I certainly wouldn't hire a Miami company to do work on my California home! I will turn them into the FTC but that does nothing either.
Same thing here. yesterday it was a medical insurance company...today they called saying we asked for a free estimate for home renovation. Scammers. I hope the callers will just disappear from the face of the earth.
We have gotten 5 calls from this number in the last couple days. Each time we ask to be removed from their call list. We are on the Do Not Call List. What good is a do not call list when it is completely ignored.
The caller is soliciting home remodeling or construction work. There is a huge amount of background noise from their "boiler room" of other telemarkers.
The person on the other end of the line is soliciting construction work. They just keep calling and calling and calling. What do they hope to accomplish? Who would do business with a company like that?
Have received several calls from this number. I finally answered. Every person that has called has had a very thick Indian accent. There is a lot of background noise, like they are in a large call center. They claim to be a home construction company offering free estimates. I have told 2 of the people that we are not interested and to please remove us from their list and to not call back. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!
