Yep...got the same voicemail last week, out of curiosity I called back , and I don't think they were ready for the thousand questions that I asked. when they realized that I was not falling for their scam they hang up on me...I then call back saying that I was ready to deposit the money into my card , but I was unsure how much I needed to pay, then when I got someone's interest again, I began asking a lot of questions :) and yep..they hang up again, determined to waste their time( Yes and mine) I kept calling with the same scenario...so this is the 5th time I call today, and guess what. I think they block me because I go straight to VM lol...ohh ill try it from a different number!
I am so glad I looked this number up. I called back but couldn't get thru. I was panic at first so I called because I do owe IRS.. But I am and have been current so no reason for lawsuit. When there is a problem the IRS corresponds by certified letters... believe I know. So thank you for this site and comments.
I just received a call from this number. They left a voicemail that they are from the IRS and they were going to file a lawsuit. Wanted me to call them back...not going to happen.
automated message about IRS filing lawsuit against me, urgent I call them right away.
FOLKS, the IRS doesn't call you, or email you, it mails you a letter, and unless you are living off grid, they know where you are.
