got a robo call fr 786-393-6169 claiming that case would expire in 24 hrs and US Marshall would come to detain -- social security # is in jeopardy and several allegations have been filed against you.

Exactly the same message! I have blocked several numbers with this same scam, they must now have a new one! I'm what you might call "senior" but I'm not this stupid!!!!! Our newspapers here in CA have written about this scam on a couple of different occasions trying to warn people. The articles have stated just how much money people have lost falling for this scam, so they keep on as long as people fall for it.
I Received the same phone call from someone claiming to be the IRS, and they had my phone number and the case would be turned over to the US Marshalls if the case was not resolved.
I received the same 24 hr threat and notice re IRS and four legal acts along with social security number issue saying to call w a file number OR court Marshall will be out to detain and legal action. This is obnoxious! Someone needs to stop these jerks.
