The guy that called me knew my full name! He's been calling for several months. Sounds like he's from the Middle East. He said he was with the Federal Government and the company was United Health. He was calling about surgery compensation. I blocked this number but he manages to call me back from a different number. I tell him never to call back.
The called me for times and indicated they were from a women's help center.
I hung up on and told him I was on do not call list. He called back and told me to pay him the $15k fine.
Same thing for me I picked up the phone at 7:50 am thinking it might be my mother calling. When I saw the out of area phone number I decided I would take care of this immediately. I answered and it is static background and dead for a few seconds, then scrambling with someone with an Eastern Indian thick accent asks for me by name. I began with "do you know what time it is" he responded with yes 6:14. Not even an hour off, so clues me in that this may not even be within the US. I told him it was before 9am and not to call again. I was on a DNC list and he had also violated my no solicitation on my phone. (of course that stupid thing doesn't come on until 9 I think what a waste of money) So I told him this would be reported, he said okay and hung up. WEIRD......
