Just missed a call from this number as well (Sept. 24, 2014). Of course I check and it's supposedly from Miami area. Thought it
might have been Carnival Cruise lines to make an upgrade offer on a cruise but glad I checked the number out online. Last thing I want is a conversation with someone trying to scam. It usually doesn't fair well at all for those types when they talk to me. I once asked one scammer (computer related) what they would say or do if I said that I was with the FBI and was at that moment looking at their computer screen. Needless to say they hung up. I never said that I was, I just asked what they would do if I said that I was. :)
7:10am PST call-didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Blocking number with fax tone.
2nd call from area (blocked other number) code. Obviously, they're spoofing or using different numbers.
I keep getting calls from this number, but I don't answer. It is getting very annoying. i have read the post where people are talking about foreign accents and scams.
7864058948 keep calling me about a bladder surgery. Never had surgery in my life, so every time they call me now I call them back and tell them how much they are the lowest scum of the earth and to remove me from their list. Same Indian lady or guy. Three days and going strong...
These people call at least once a week and ask me about surgeries I have never had before. I have begged, pleaded, and argued for these people to remove my personal cell phone number from their list. When I do, regardless of my tone of voice, they hang up on me. It is never the same person and it is all ways someone with a deep accent that ishard to understand.
