I am furious. I was asleep at 630 am is when they called. I have a very sick relative and was scared out of my mind when the phone rang that early thinking it was about that relative. I thought that there was an emergency since the phone rang and it was still dark outside. God I hate these people.
Received call from man with strong accent. Decided to f*** with him and asked for his name a SS#. Said he was with a medical insurance company that I do not subscribe to and I was due a refund. Said his name was John Smith.. Asked him if, with that accent he really though I believed his name was John Smith? Decided to mess with him some more. He kept talking and I asked him if he knew he was going to hell for scamming people. He kept talking. Told him to get on his hands and knees and ask God to forgive him. He hung up. Don't think I will be hearing from him again.
Received a call after 9:00 pm on the east coast and like the other's, the caller was a male with a heavy middle eastern accent. I asked him twice to repeat the name and told him I could not understand who he was asking for, at which time he very clearly was able to say "get lost b**ch" and hung up. I proceeded to call the number back, since it was on my caller id only to have the phone never ring and music just start playing - no person.
This call from 786-405-8948 came up as "Unassigned" when I was standing right next to my call blocker. Well if you're "unassigned" I'm "uninterested" in picking up. BAM!!!! I hit that "block" button and will never hear from this number again. Do yourself a favor and invest in a call blocker. There are many good ones out there to choose from and they really do keep these kinds of calls to a minimum, mine have been cut by about 90%. Once blocked, calls from that number will never get through again and many models will hold well over a thousand numbers. You can look at the stored information in the blocker to see if these guys call back after getting blocked, and actually the vast majority of callers do not try calling again after getting blocked the first time. Those that try again get blocked instantly and eventually they go away. Works great on politicians too!
