They called me about a purchase i did not fulfilled on 2014 and now i need to pay $700+ or they will send me to court, i did get no call before or mail, neither email,
These people called my mom and told her that they ordered an antenna back in 2014 and that they owe 3000.00 and that they were being taken to court so my dad got scared and was worried could not sleep so I called the next day during the day and there was no answer Then I tried again at night like at 8:30 they answered and asked me for my phone number that we communicated to I gave them my parents number and they said that they are being taken to court because of an order they made in 2014 and I asked her if my dad signed a contract and she said, "no " he gave his word, so that that was his contract, I almost died laughing, because when you go to court you need to have proof and signed documents and they had none. Also when I spoke to them on behalf of my parents it was strange because no collection agency will talk to anyone unless they are the ones on the account and they always ask for the last 4 of your social they dont ask for a phone number. Ohhhh and also they then told me that the account that my dad owed went up from 3000.00 to $7000.00 I laughed so hard I peeed on myself I told them to stop scamming the elderly that they should be ashamed of themselves doing this to people. I also told her that I know where she is and that I am going to send the police after her for doing this to people. Sometimes what these people do is put a recording on sounding like they are in a room of other collectors talking to other people on the phone, but in reality they are home alone trying to get money out of people. I really have a cousin who is a cop in Miami I will give him this phone number so he can check it out. Please people do NOT believe these people Its so sad that the a lot of elderly people just want to pay so they wont get in trouble and dont know that they can do a search on the computer to find out if its legit or not. so sad.
