Received call from number....Heavy accent...stating he was from "Medical health Care Center". My name was given because their list shows I had taken "Risperdal" a depression medication with side effects. He then tried to get personal information from me. Told him his list was wrong and do not call any further...he went on and on...ended up blocking the call from my phone....SCAM!
Number called. Person on other end had strong foreign accent. Said they had records that I had taken Resperdal. (don't even know what that treats) I asked where they would've got that information and he said they said they weren't sure? (not 100% sure because accent was thick) Asked how they got my phone number and they hung up on me. Seems like it either a shady law office trying to cash in on medication recalls via phishing or they were just phishing for other reasons.
You want to know how to get back at these companies???? After they call like this and harass us... create craigslists ads selling highly searched items for super low prices. Let them get harassing calls about things they don't know about.
Getting calls from this number. ([***]) I don't answer calls numbers I don't know. If you find out who this is let me know and I will take care of this problem!!!
