Got the same call from KMAX IT support in Miami. I knew it was a scam so I kept him on the phone for ten minutes. He told me his number is 786-592-0586. He got angry with me when I told him I was calling Microsoft to validate him, said "f*ck you" and hung up on me. Mission accomplished.
This Fl. "Co." is with a NY #9293357055 ANUP same computer SCAM. Lady from NY Gave me this # to call to verify. These people get pissed easy,so if they call ya,Have FUN with'em.Call them back from a diff. Phone,try to sell them storm windows or siding,etc. Ha
12-19-2015 Received a call from Michael Bryant (heavy middle eastern accent) who ID himself as a Co working with Windows IT Support. He said, his Co is K Max IT. and that my computer is being hacked. He wanted to show me and repair my computer by remote access, I said NO and asked for a call back number 786-592-0586 to gain additional information. I Googled the number and it was reported as a Scam. I told him what I had discovered and terminated our phone conversation. Prior to termination of the call I reported my findings to him. Surprisingly, he was very cool calm and wanted to assure me I was mistaken. He was very convincing I can see why some people can be sucked in.
And then they called me back from another number 801-896-1222, saying I had called their customer service line! man, this guy was obnoxiously persistent, only stopped when I started yelling at him.
