No Attorney General gets involved in collecting debts, no warrants are issued, nor will you be put in jail. If you were under investigation by the State AG, real police would have been knocking on your door, not some scummy, lowlife debt collector.
I received a message from this number that requested to call them back to resolve a legal issue. This is clearly a scam. When I called back, someone stated that they were with the Department of the Treasury. This is clearly a scam.
Call me saying legal issue and lawsuit. Said with Department of Treasury. I laughed and said really okay what do you want. They say go f*** off Bit**.. and hung up because they knew I knew was a scam. Omg. I called them back and then foreign lady versus foreign guy answered. Told them they are scamers and what do they want. She talked in circles and anything I asked she would hang up. I kept calling back. Finally man answered and I said this is the Bit** you hung up on. He then got majorly disgusting. Tell me what all he could do to me and I to him.. Pure scammers and nasty people. Someone needs to do something. He was soooo nasty. I told him all that would happen to him when he goes to prison where he belongs.
I received a call from this number and the person stated that I needed to call back right away to resolve a legal issue. I called the number back and the person claimed they were from the US Treasury and I owed back taxes for 2009 and 2011 in the amount $2,400.00. They went on to say that I needed to provide a check or banking information for a debit authorization to avoid going to jail. When I asked for their employee ID, they hung up. Needless to say, I don't owe money, I am not in jail and this is a scam.

Someone said I didn't pay my 2012 taxes and the IRS has a warrant out for my arrest. I told him I never received a letter from the IRS, started arguing with him about it and he just hung up on me.
