This number had called me said that I have paid my taxes and it's my own money given back to me from the government. I didn't want to give him my bank info (he asked for a debit or credit card). He said a green dot card from Wal-Mart would work. It just needs $4.00 on it...he gave me the vibe of a sales person...I'm gonna go with my gut instincts and say this is a scam. to bad i could use the 4000.00 right now...lol... i feel bad for the poeple who fall for this
Got a call concerning grant money. I have never applied for any type of grant. Asked them to put my number on their company do not call list, but still got calls. Have reported them to Utah State Attorney General and made a complaint to the FTC
They asked for my son and said they were calling from the State Governement of Texas. Now, I used to live in Utah, I know the area code. I know the area codes of Texas too. I know it's a scam, the man had an Indian accent and couldn't even pronounce my son's name correctly and it's a common name
