This number had called me said that I have paid my taxes and it's my own money given back to me from the government. I didn't want to give him my bank info (he asked for a debit or credit card). He said a green dot card from Wal-Mart would work. It just needs $4.00 on it...he gave me the vibe of a sales person...I'm gonna go with my gut instincts and say this is a scam. to bad i could use the 4000.00 right now...lol... i feel bad for the poeple who fall for this
1 801-210-7423 said I qualified for a grant started to ask how I wanted to receive. Told him it was a scam and no one would ever call me asking information for a federal grant.
They keep calling me so I looked up this thread with the number. I can't wait for them to call again. I'm gonna mess with them so hard and waste their time. I wanna see how long I can pretend like I am going to give them money. Maybe I will ask them if I give them more money if I can get extra grants. Lol. I hate these people.
Hey! They might have gotten it off job sites or anything like that. Anything u put on the internet is open for viewing. If they told me they have my address I would dare them to come to my house. Go ahead punk...make my day!
I'm a single mother who has been applying for any type of housing assistance that I can get since landlord wants to sell the house we're living in and I'm forced to move, so naturally when they called me (5 times in one hour?!) and told me that I have been approved for a $5,000 grant, INITIALLY I was excited... but thankfully, and quickly, my intuition and smarts kicked in... the dead giveaway was when they asked me for a Visa, MasterCard or Walmart gift card?! They also told me that there needed to be a minimum of $4 on the card for "handling fees." Thankfully I didn't fall for their B.S. SCAM!!!! And yes, the guy had a thick accent (from India?) and he was clearly reading from the script they give. Anytime I would ask a question, he would resort back to his notes and just repeat himself. DON'T FALL FOR IT!!! #houndingforsuckers
