They call my house 2-3 times daily. Caller id says IMS. I've answered and they hang up. Have no idea why the hell they keep calling. I've reported them several times, they continue to call. So irritating. I too am on the do not call registry. Wish they'd stop.
I receive continuous calls Morning to late evening including Sat and Sunday from IMS. and other telemarketer operators. The caller Id Lists IMS + phone # 801-316-1425. I tried answering IMS once, some time ago, but no one spoke. I have been receiving frequent daily calls for many months from IMS. I assume that IMS is some sort of telemarketing scheme targeting Businesses. These calls are very annoying and disturbing to my business efforts. All of my phones both personal and business are on the no call list which has proved to be totally worthless at stopping any telemarketing calls. It is my practice to simply not answer the phone when the caller ID is listed as Private, unavailable, unassigned, Unknown Name. I know that some of my clients ID information does this at times but knowing their #'s I answer but it makes it hard to detect prospective business calls. Out of town friends or clients sometime come across the ID this way and if they do not leave a message I just unfortunately miss their call. I have a business to run which is most difficult due to these frequent interruptions. I am way past the end of patience so just now I answered and IMS call - at first there was no answer then it sounded like a switch was made and a voice with India accent gave me his name and started to tell me that I had been selected to receive etc at which I told him I was not interested and to take my information off his list. He promised that would be done and I would not be bothered again. I am assuming from this experience that IMS is just the telemarketing company that generates the call for a Company that hires them and when the phone is answered the connection is transferred. Could it be that I will continue to receive other telemarketing calls generated by IMS????
My only thought is to contact the Attorney General and see if I can get some relief from these type calls.
This is a company calling IBS or something like that claiming that you are the winner of some sort of drawing and that they will be sending a scratch off ticket to your house with "fabulous prizes!" They just need to ask you some questions first. BS. They call my business all the time. I chew them out each time, demand that they stop calling, and they continue to call even though we are on the DNC list.
