This is a prepaid automated call from PAYTEL COMMUNICATIONS by an inmate in a city or county jail. Pastel COMMUNICATIONS is a carrier for inmates in many city and county jails and I believe state prisons. Save the number in your contacts and the next time this number CALLS, ANSWER it. You will be able to hear the name of the inmate calling which a machine doesnt catch. Inmates get a one time free one minute call the first time to any phone. At the end of the one minute it will tell you how to set up a paytel account for that inmate. The inmate can also do this with money he has on his books. Erica Dawson
I got a call from this number but couldn't pick it up in time to answer it. I tried calling the number back back, and a recording came on that said: " the number you have reached is not in service, this is a recording".
this number called twice in an hour while I am at work. called back to find out who it could be. However, I just got the standard 'number not available and cannot be reached, check the number....."
