Computer scam - they will not respect your request to put you on their Do Not Call list, and they are persistent and unscrupulous. Best way to handle them? Act interested for a second or two, then tell them, "Hold on a sec," and then go back to whatever you were doing until they eventually hang up. The more of THEIR time you waste, the fewer calls they'll be able to make and the more likely they will voluntarily mark you as a Do Not Call.
I just received a call from 801-425-1620. Person claimed to be a Microsoft service center and that they had just sent an OS update but there was an issue. He asked me to turn on my computer. I told him I was not in front of my computer so he hung up. Beware!
We continue to have calls from this group of people. They all have an accent like they are from India. We have told them repeatedly not to call but they call every month and harass us. Wish I knew how to stop them.
