Computer scam - they will not respect your request to put you on their Do Not Call list, and they are persistent and unscrupulous. Best way to handle them? Act interested for a second or two, then tell them, "Hold on a sec," and then go back to whatever you were doing until they eventually hang up. The more of THEIR time you waste, the fewer calls they'll be able to make and the more likely they will voluntarily mark you as a Do Not Call.
Get repeated calls from 801-425-1620 re my computer. Caller ID identified as "Chad Moultrie". Have put a block on this number via my phone service but want to issue complaint due to frequency of these calls. On National Do Not Call List. Is this even useful? Aaargh!!
I get these calls off and on. If I have time, I have fun with them. I told them I have multiple people in my many families that use the computer to I just have porn on my computer. I even mentioned to them I live in a nudist colony. My favorite so far is that I told them that the FBI is listening in on all my phones calls. If they start calling in again. I will have to come up with more stories.
Call came up as Chad Moultrie. 801-425-1620. He's a scammer trying to gain access to your PC by pretending to call from Microsoft. Do what I did and tell him to fck off, then block his number.
