I just received a call from 801-503-8622 on my cell phone. It showed that I had a voice mail, but when I checked there was nothing there. I went to tnid.org and checked to see where its coming from. It stated the call was coming from Utah. I've received calls like this several times this year. I have my home phone and cell phones on the DNC List...National and State. I am going to report this to my State Attorney General and Federal. It's about time the Feds get off their butts and do something about these frauds.
tnid.org is a good site to check out calls like this as you get more info that will help filing a complaint.
I too received a call from this company, but I've managed to get rid of them without breaking a sweat.
I have a disconnected sound wave recorded on my answering machine, so any of the telemarketing, debt collection, or fake credit card services who calls and hears this pre-recorded tone, instantly believes they have a number that's TRULY been disconnected.
The sound waves can be found at: www.payphone-drectory.org
I recommend everyone tries it and see how it works for themselves. Just make sure you tell your relative and friends, cause they will be fooled too!
