Received a call from this same number (801-686-0784) 4 times today. The first two times they hung up on me. The third time I spoke to an Indian guy who told me he was from Windows Support calling about a virus on my computer. He couldn't provide any additional information on my computer. I told him he was looking to get into my computer so he could take control of it and demand money for me to gain access back. (I know how it works, happened to someone I know.) I then told him to take my phone number off the calling list and to never contact me again. I received another phone call an hour later from the same company, this time a lady, with the same BS. I told her she works for a scam, should be ashamed of herself, and to never call my number again. She said she would continue to contact me. I blocked her number through my phone provider and submitted a complaint to the FTC. DO NOT ALLOW THESE PEOPLE TO HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER.
Called twice tonight. Same MO - Indian caller with heavy accent and poor English saying I have a virus on my Windows computer. I have a Mac. Like I'd fall for it even if I had a Windows computer. I wish I could block numbers on my home phone like I can on my iPhone.
