Called 6:00 on a sunday night. Left message on the machine because they thought someone had picked up. Couldn't understand some of the message but they said something like "Hello this is so and so calling from so and so associates and I would like to speak to a registered voter...... Anyone on the line?"
And they hung up.
I answered this call. They said they were with J.D. Power & Assoc. and they wanted to take an interview concerning the care I had recently received at our local hospital. I declined and hung up.
Have received calls like this from numerous different numbers... it has been going on for years... always the same if I answer they hang up. The numbers are from all different parts of the country.. if I block them, they call on a different number. The number is always on google the same as this one.. I changed my phone number and they found my new one... If I change again, I wont sign on to the Do-Not-Call-List... and make sure my number is unlisted and unpublished. What do they get out of this? I have no idea except just to harrass me. Thre surely can't be any money in it for them.
Just because you're unlisted doesn't mean they can't find you. Seriously.
I just received a call also, and answered, because I'm blind and thought it was 201. Figured it was a local cell# calling. Nobody answered when I picked up. 801-823-2021 Unknown Caller.
HAD A LITTLE FUN WITH TESE PEOPLE LAST NIGHT ... YUP ... SUNDAY NIGHT ... IT WAS SOME KIND OF SURVEY ... 3RD CALL FOR THE DAY ... FIRST THEY WANTED A REGISTERED MALE VOTER AND ONE WAS NOT AVAILABLE ... I IGNORED THE 2ND CALL ... ANSWERED THE 3RD AT ALMOST 9PM .. THIS TIME THEY WANTED A FEMALE REGISTERED VOTER ... SO I GAVE THEM ONE ... Sorry for "shouting" ... anyway ... City Public Service here in San Antonio is trying to build a nuke plant that is already about 10BILLION over budget and it hasn't even started yet ... then there were questions about Valero ... and then poloticians ... it was kind of fun actually ... wasting there time since I was just laying in bed watching TV ... I would love it if a nuke plant came to town ... if only because my brother lives far away and might come here as he is a Nuclear Phys. Tech Retired Navy ... and I miss him ... would rather HE be running it than the idiots they got working on it ... then she wants to know if I would support it knowing that my bill will increase 40% over the next decade ... and a few minutes wants to know if I would support it because it is going to save me money ... how can my bill going up be saving me $$$ ... then lastly I think she was upset to find out that I am a poor WHITE chick and not hispanic or Latino ... or anything else because white wasn't even listed ... WEEEEEE waste THEIR time if you get a chance ... it made me feel a little better about being a poor white chick for a while :) Told her to have whomever hired her call me I could tell them a thing or two ... she chuckled and hung up ... couldn't tell if they worked for CPS Energy ... Valero or a politician or some radical group against the nuke plant ... the questions jumped all over the map ...
