Called 6:00 on a sunday night. Left message on the machine because they thought someone had picked up. Couldn't understand some of the message but they said something like "Hello this is so and so calling from so and so associates and I would like to speak to a registered voter...... Anyone on the line?"
And they hung up.
When they called me,I asked to be taken off call list, and they kept talking about weird stuff like politics and media stuff, so I hung up. I was polite though. ((((Dont forget, telemarketing is a job, the people who call your house dont decide who they are calling. Its a job, it feeds their family and whatever.))))
Called me at 4:42 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon...when I
finally decided to answer after 4 rings, all I got was dead air...waited maybe 20 seconds...and was cut off...i.e. got dial tone. Waste of time all around, I'd say.
