Called 6:00 on a sunday night. Left message on the machine because they thought someone had picked up. Couldn't understand some of the message but they said something like "Hello this is so and so calling from so and so associates and I would like to speak to a registered voter...... Anyone on the line?"
And they hung up.
I have been ignoring the ring because it does not identify the caller in our caller ID. Just for grins I called back and the answering machine said it was a company doing surveys.
08/10/10 - call and hang-up. not knowing 801 callers i web-searched the number. i called back and the outgoing message i got indicated they take surveys of various sorts.
801-823-2021 I got two calls from this number today and several times prior to today.
The last call was at 9:20 pm this evening! Way too late for nuisance phone calls. No message was left. When I dialed the --2021 number, there was a recording identifying the company as Western Wats and explaining that it gathered data. It left me hanging after the message and then finally disconnected.
Thanks to this great website, I called the other number listed here, 801.373.7735, and got another recording saying the office was closed. However, there was a menu and I could select 2 which allowed me to record the number(s) I didn't want them to call again.
Again, thank you. I believe this may be some sort of political survey since we are soon to have a primary election here...
