Called 6:00 on a sunday night. Left message on the machine because they thought someone had picked up. Couldn't understand some of the message but they said something like "Hello this is so and so calling from so and so associates and I would like to speak to a registered voter...... Anyone on the line?"
And they hung up.
Script-reader assured me that she was not selling anything and asked to speak to IT. I said they weren't available and asked for a callback number. She refused to leave one, identified her company as TNS, and hung up.
I don't even have time to talk to my paying customers, much less someone wanting to profile me so they can sell my name to other telemarkers. If I needed something, I would seek it out on the internet and CALL YOU, so please don't call me!
Tell them you would be happy to take their survey, and ask for their home number, or cell, and let them know you will call them back at 8:30PM their time, at home, and watch how fast they go away.
