Called 6:00 on a sunday night. Left message on the machine because they thought someone had picked up. Couldn't understand some of the message but they said something like "Hello this is so and so calling from so and so associates and I would like to speak to a registered voter...... Anyone on the line?"
And they hung up.
always a hang up, never a message, so rude. the do not call list is a joke. i have been getting call regardless of being on the do not call list. sneaky robotic dialing machines call random numbers and if you answer chances are you will get hung up on because the solicitor can only take one live mark, (respondent) at a time. REMEMBER, NEVER give any personal info. to the caller, of course if they want to harass you they can get everything from your facebook, (stalker central),account!!!
Received a call on my Verizon cellphone from this number at 6:36 pm EST. I'm also on the Do Not Call list, but that obviously didn't matter to these callers.
Rec'd a call yesterday. Answered it because it is from an area code I do business with. They wanted to do a survey on my bank(s) as far as their service goes. We were almost through but apparently the guy's supervisor kept calling him because he was taking longer than supposed to (probably because I asked to repeat questions or clarify). He said he would call me back, Even though it seemed to be legit I decided I was not going to answer any more survey questions so I didn't pick up the next time he called. Welll, for the rest of the day, he kept calling me. I believe the reason being is he probably won;t get paid unless it is completed. The following day the calls continued which was a pain having to keep running to check my caller ID. He was a nice enough guy but if I'm going to spend all my time answering questions then I want to be paid like some other companies do.
