The second number "1 800 935 9935" which is on the back of their debit cards aparently is CHASE and I did talked to them (after NOT giving them my account number it went through anyway) they said the number that called me and you all "1 801 823 2024" is NOT a chase number so be carefull folks!
I do not think this is Chase. We have closed our account with the big banks (Chase) and have moved to a credit union. If I let the machine answer they hang up everytime. Seems fishy to me. If it is a reputable call they will usually leave a message to call back. Caller ID says Ogden, UT. We are on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Lot of help that is!
I'm 99% sure it probably is a chase survey. I had just called them a few days ago about cancelling a card that had a fraudulent purchase. HORRIBLE message though. I could hardly understand a word and they didn't leave a number. Embarrassing for Chase.
Received a call from this number, it went to voicemail, was a woman's garbled "Hello", then she hung up. Have had a Chase checking account for close to two years, I haven't had any activity other than the normal deposits, debits, occasional online purchases,........mundane, typical tranactions.
No idea why they would call from Ogden, as I live in Portland, Or.......??
3 calls over a 10 day period, all claiming to be from Chase. I called Chase to verify if this was them, and they checked the number versus their database of "authorized" numbers: the representative at Chase informed me that this is NOT a Chase Bank number calling me.
