Caller ID only shows Holladay, UT. Search on 411.com & whitepages.com say only that it is a landline from Qwest. When I called it on my cell, I got a message that the number was disconnected/out of service. When called from my landline, the greeting says: "Welcome to Triple A (AAA Motor Club). Please enter your account number or 10-digit telephone number." We had to let our AAA membership expire in May due to job cuts/lack of funds, so I assume they are trying to get us to sign back up .
I received a phone call from this number at 12:25 pm and it was a 1 question survey about abortion. The call was located from Holladay, Utah (on my Caller ID). I answered their question and hung up.
We get 3-4 calls a day from this #. Hangups as soon as answering machine kicks on. We do not answer any call which show up unknown name/unknown # or in this case unknown name and 1-801-943 etc.
Calls 2-3 times a day and never leaves a message. When my answering machine picks up the call, the caller hangs up. Annoying as hell....How do I stop this; I too am on the "Do Not Call" list....
I recieved a call from 801-943-0000 ID Holladay, UT & 000-000-0000 unknown name. This call was from a reseach company by the name of GCS Services asking a one question survey on Abortion. I informed them I am on the do not call list and the lady politely apologized and said she would take my number off the list. They are on a blind redial of numbers. The computer auto calls the numbers in seq. order and has no distinction of the do not call list. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
