Received a call from this number on my cell. Didn't call back from that number. Called from another business landline. Someone answered, "this is Sam. Thank you for calling me back today." I hung up. I just wanted to see if the number would be answered.
Got a call from 804-255-1079. Mike Mellman from the National Patrolman's Association. Actually, this was the second call from the "association" this morning. Different number for the first call. Told "Mike" not to call again and was reporting the number to the FCC. Shameful scam!!!!!!!!
I'm marking this as a telemarketer, but in the past, I have had solicitation calls from an actually agency that does donation request calls for non-profits. I found that these 3rd party agencies get your name from one group, like Susan B Koman for the cure, and use it for ALL the OTHER non-profits who pay them to do solicitation calls. The abuse the public. They call like 6 to 8 times in a year for the "ANNUAL" fund raising event. So I no longer give to ANY non-profits that call me.
Judging from prior comments here, this is more likely to be a con-artist pretending to be calling for the National Patrolman's Association.
Hits both of my numbers (Cell & Google Voice) practically at the same time!!
Answered on both with no reply then a hang up only after one ring
tried to call back but the call would end 1 second after the call was placed
I would like to be in a call center like that and earn money for doing nothing!!!
