Unfortunately no one at 800 notes can do anything to stop these calls.  This is a user driven forum where ordinary people such as yourself report on their experience with unknown callers.  Whomever is calling you is not likely to read this forum and magically infer your name and number so as to remove you from their call list.

Yes it is a scam. Bottom line is IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE # DON'T ANSWER IT. And the do not call list,  is a list these people subscribe to and does NOT work like you think it should. Just DON'T answer it if you don't know it.  Have a GREAT New Year all.
