Ventura County Rescue Mission calling to inform they are doing a donation pickup in the area, asked if we have anything we'd like to leave out that day.
805-487-1234.. Called they did not leave a message, if they DO NOT LEAVE a mesage it is a "Unsolicitated" call and will be reported...I do not care if it is "RESCUE MISSION"...
It's possible this is a real number for the Rescue Mission that's been hacked. I don't live anywhere near Ventura County so why would they be in my area? Be wary....
I agree. If they are legitimate, why don't they identify themselves, and why don't they leave a message. Scoundrels and thieves who give the real rescue missions a bad name.
