I agree with Joe Shmoe way at the top. Its time the phone company shares in the responsibility in helping their customers.
When I was younger fooling around on the phone was a serious offence. Its their line, we pay to lease it and for a service
not to be obused. They no where these calls are originating from. But I bet you will be very surprised once you find out.
If you have caller ID do not pick up the phone and answer an out of state number or one you don't know. better yet, turn in phone and terminate service until all this harassment ends
I answered after 2 rings. Nobody there. I wonder how it's a scam if they won't talk to people who answer. Perhaps the odds increase when they call people back who've called them back from the number on the caller ID.
Mutiple phone calls from this number , a woman asking for money for breast cancer
They call here 3 to 5 times daily. If we answer immediately the woman asks for my husband. if we let it ring and then answer no one is there or there is a long delay before someone speaks. Robo calls. They take who ever answers first. They have been calling early in the morning and late in the evening. We have told them multiple times not to call us and we are currently on the no call list.
We get several calls a day from "Michigan" and when we answer, no one is there. I just let the calls go to voice mail and there is never a message. The calls start early in the day and the last one comes in just before 9:00 p.m. central time. I cannot get to the phone fast and these calls border on harassment.
