Get several calls all hours, even on weekends, different phone numbers too, all say "Michigan Call". I don't pick up at all and never will for these losers.
This is the third or fourth call in the last few days. I let it go to the answering machine but they never leave a message. Extremely annoying! What do they accomplish by this?
Looking through these complaints, they've been going on for over 2 years. I have a new home phone number and I guess they just found it. I don't answer when the caller ID says Michingan call.
November 18, 2014 6:20PM: I just received a call from this number (1-810-224-5027). They identified themselves as the Terminally Ill Children s Fund. I asked him if he was a telemarketer and he stated, yes but he is working directly for the Terminal Children s fund. I told them that we prefer to give directly to the charities, IE our Children's Hospital and St. Jude's Hospital. The telemarketer was rude and explained that they give directly to the charity. I asked what percentage goes directly to the charity and he stated that 65% goes to the charity. I explained that leaves 35% for the marketing company, he responded, he needed to get paid and that my dollar doesn't go directly to the charity it goes to rich doctors and nurses. I asked him if the researchers, doctors and nurses that work with the children shouldn't get paid? He stated he wouldn't pay them because they are rich and wouldn't pay anyone unless they were black.
