Latest "MICROSOFT" SCAM call, claiming to have detected a 'virus' on your computer and wanting your IP address to 'fix' it, remotely.
The only thing these INDIAN/PAKISTANI/MIDDLE EASTERN SCUMBAGS will 'fix' is your BANK ACCT, when they RANSOM your computer files back to you - and access all your banking info to CLEAN you OUT.
**VERY DANGEROUS** SCAM. HANG UP, BLOCK, REPORT.
CALL TYPE: CRIMINAL THIEVES/SCAMMERS
Caller: Only "MICHIGAN" on Caller ID
It looks like people here are receiving calls from a tech support telemaggoter. It is not worth answering this or any other unfamiliar caller.
As for being on the DNCR, that will never stop bogus operations from calling. This is especially true when comes to those that are based overseas.
I don't usually leave my cell phone ringer on but yesterday I did because I was busy and was expecting an important call. Each time any number other than the one I was expecting called I simply turned of the ringer. I found the if you stop the ringer they know you look at the phone so they continue to call. I finally got my call so I turned the ringer off. This morning I saw they tried calling again. So I went to this website and saw these comments. Being I trust these comments more than the unknown numbers I seem to get periodically I simply "Add number to Auto reject list" on my phone. I'm sure they will call from another number soon.
******SCAM****************, asking to get my IP Address so they could connect with my "Windows" computer. Asked them which one and all they could keep saying was the "windows" computer. They wanted to help me fix the bugs/virus/errors they were showing on my end. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFO TO ANYONE FROM THIS NUMBER
