They called me on my cell phone, so I double checked on the National Do Not Call Registry just to make sure my cell number was still registered. I read that companies such as this, who are calling to do surveys, are exempt from the "Do Not Call" laws, as are charities and political organizations. I guess the only thing I can do is block them from calling my cell again.
This number has called me 4 -6 times a day for the past 5 days..They just don't take the hint that if the answering machine picks up, no one will answer so they just keep calling..The next time they call they will get an ear full..
I screen all my calls. If they don't leave a message, they are some kind of unwanted solicitor. I don't answer my phone for numbers I don't recognize..What is wrong with the [***]..What does it take to get thru to them.
After the first call they failed to leave a message so I blocked the number. My phone will ring once and then disconnect once it recognizes the number. Needless to say here's how often they've called:
