They called me on my cell phone, so I double checked on the National Do Not Call Registry just to make sure my cell number was still registered. I read that companies such as this, who are calling to do surveys, are exempt from the "Do Not Call" laws, as are charities and political organizations. I guess the only thing I can do is block them from calling my cell again.
This market research company called this morning and asked for me by name. I asked them to remove me from their call list. The man politely said he would. I hope they do.
