They called me on my cell phone, so I double checked on the National Do Not Call Registry just to make sure my cell number was still registered. I read that companies such as this, who are calling to do surveys, are exempt from the "Do Not Call" laws, as are charities and political organizations. I guess the only thing I can do is block them from calling my cell again.
Received a call from these people and they didn't recognize that it was an answering machine, and asked for my daughter by name. She just did an online tax return through Turbo tax. I'm wondering if they sell phone numbers to places like this? It's odd that they asked for her by name. The phone number is listed with my husband and my name only. I'm beginning to think the only reason I have a land line is so telemarketers can harass me....
Just got off the phone with ATT-so ticked-these [***] called last night at 4 AM and again a few minutes ago. ATT said to register complaints and numbers at 888-382-1222.
208.232.1818 is their contact number per their website. If everyone they have annoyed took to calling them a few times each day they might get the point. Or send a fax with your opinions to 208.232.1466. Send it a few times just to make sure it gets through. If you have a selective call forwarding service, you could forward their 810.600.7323 calls back to them.
If they want my opinion they can pay me for it. The days of free information is over.
Think about all of the money they invest to harass you by phone and the money spent analyzing the data they gather. What I want is to be part of the food chain.
If want to pay them back answer them with outrageous answers. Screw their data collections with phony data. When enough people learn how to fight back with outrageous numbers the corporations that hire them will discover their data is unreliable and stop using them. It won't happen overnight, but it will happen.
Why should you share any of your information to an anonymous caller without compensation? If they want your information make them pay.
