They called last night asking for me. They said they were from the disabled/paralyzed veterans org. I know better than to give personal stuff over the phone so I hung up.
A caller from this number asked to speak to my wife. As soon as I asked "who's calling, please?", they hung up. It's a scam in which they tell you they need a donation and tell thank you for your donation you made last year (even though you never made one). They call here constantly. I have reported them, but to no avail.
I tried calling them back so I could scream at them and tell them not to call anymore, but the number does not ring a phone when you call it.
this person has called twice, saying he is from the michigan paralyized vets and has a check from me, last year for donation. no he does not.... i do not donate over the phone. he was very rude and argumentive!!! i hung up in him for the second time.
Caller ID showed "Unknown"
She had the sexiest voice I've ever heard and asked for me by name. Maybe they're calling people on the DNC list?
Too bad I suspected a SCAM. When I asked "Who's calling?" she just hung up.
I wish they were all this easy to get rid of.
Maybe they're reading the posts on here? An hour after I posted the above "they" just called and hung up.
