A caller from this number asked to speak to my wife. As soon as I asked "who's calling, please?", they hung up. It's a scam in which they tell you they need a donation and tell thank you for your donation you made last year (even though you never made one). They call here constantly. I have reported them, but to no avail.
I tried calling them back so I could scream at them and tell them not to call anymore, but the number does not ring a phone when you call it.
I answered the phone which is my boyfriends. Very seldom do I answer it but he was gone. She said let me speak to George and when I asked who was calling she hung up on me.
The phone number does not appear to be a working number, so my guess is whoever it is, is spoofing their number to conceal their identity. Obviously you would not want to do business with an entity that tries to hide who they are.
Lady that spoke so fast I couldn't catch the name of the company she was claiming to be from. She claimed I committed to donating to them over the phone a sum of $1,500 and acted frustrated. When told to stop calling she acted like she didn't hear me at all and very rudely said "I didn't catch that." repeatedly.
Too bad for their operation the scam artists called someone with hacking experience.
