A lady called asking for my oldest son. I replied that he is not home, and asked if I can take a message for him. She said she is calling from American General, and it's personal matter. Then she hung up.
paid off my car earlier this month of around $3500. get about 4-5 calls a day and finally called them today and asked why they kept calling. she says it's a "courtesy" call and wanted to know if i wanted another loan. umm... NO! i just paid off the car!
812-437-7744 I get this call with multiple hang ups. I don't know who it is, so I don't answer. Finally, I call it, it's a courtesy call from them offering personal and consolidation loans. Hey, the only thing I have finance was a mattess set, that's all I am interested in, I don't need the rest of the crap. Ugh. They said it would take up to 24 hours get my name onto their do not solicite list. I hope it sticks, because the calls are annoying.
Had a loan with AG and it was an interest scam. They imply one thing and do another. I was out about $800 in unexpected interest charges. My experience is like ACDC. They call a couple times a day and don’t leave a message for the first few weeks of the month. I would highly recommend not taking any loan or product with AG.
