Backbone Comm just called our business from 781-357-1898. Nobody on the line, so no clue what the scammers are trying to sell us.....

Calls repeatedly wanting medical information. Told them they were violating hippa laws and next time they will hear from my lawyer. They will probably call again

TYPE OF CALL - ATTEMPTED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY
Caller, a recording, threatened me with government action, pulling me before a grand jury and criminal sanctions if I didn't return his call. Stating it was a second attempt. Interestingly this time he didn't say he was from the IRS.

This appears to be a new variation on the IRS scam. Callers usually state that the person they are calling owes the IRS some huge amount of past taxes and the IRS will institute legal/criminal action if the individual doesn't pay up.

Male Caller accent sounded like South Indian accented English.
