18 calls from this number over the last 3 days!! Obviously a scam. I never answer calls from numbers I don't know and they NEVER leave a message. This scammer is very, very persistent though... hopefully they will get the message soon to stop wasting their and my time!
Have received over a dozen calls from this number over the past couple of weeks. No message is ever left, but you can hear breathing sometimes, so I think it is a live person, not autocall. I'm not sure why they don't just leave a message.
so I've been getting calls from this number for weeks, about 4/5 times a day. Today I answered. It's the Planetary Society Magazine wanting to know if I want to re subscribe to their magazine. I said please take me off your list and the lady was very sorry for calling and said I'll take you off of this "Campaign" list...what's strange is..it worked. So I guess the best thing to do is answer it and tell them to take you off their list and it should work. Worked for me.
Have gotten the same call. Do not hear anything but silence. Hope it will not continue as it has with others. Will decline from now on and see what happens.
