18 calls from this number over the last 3 days!! Obviously a scam. I never answer calls from numbers I don't know and they NEVER leave a message. This scammer is very, very persistent though... hopefully they will get the message soon to stop wasting their and my time!
Just got two calls this morning about an hour apart from this number. As with everyone else--no message left. I am giving up my home phone next week, primarily because I am sick of getting 6-10 calls per day from telemarketers. Only friends and relatives will get my new number.
I answered the latest call from this #, it was the SIERRA CLUB. I am a member. They are wanting donations to fight coal plants, which is a good cause in my opinion. I still did not give my card # over the phone. They will mail me an envelope for my donation.
