I got the same guy call me. I told him I knew he was a scammer and that I was recording the call for his trial.
I then hung up and called GEICO and reported the incident to them.
I have been receiving calls from different numbers all across the USA..What is up with this stupid world..I know it is people trying to get info off my phone. Hey ya'll go get a real job like the rest of us, that work for a living and have a right to privacy on a phone that I pay for to use not YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! too funny, as I sit here typing this message I just received 2 more calls....
Also just received a call from this number with no one on the other line. I swear I have never had so many spam callers as I have received since I started fwd'ing my Google Voice numbers to my cell phone. Saw the rest of these comments and just immediately blocked the number. Sigh
THEY HAVE CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES. I JUST SPOKE TO SOMEONE WHOM I COULD BARELY UNDERSAND WHO TOLD ME MY AUTO INSURANCE WAS BEING REDUCED AND THEN STATED THE MAKE YEAR AND MODEL OF MY VEHICLE. I ASKED HIM TO REPEAT THE NAME OF THE COMPANY AND HIS REPLY WAS INDISTINGUISHABLE, LIKELY INTENTIONALLY. I ASKED HIM IF IT THIS WAS WA SALES CALL AND HE SAID NO, THEN BEGAN HIS SALES PITCH. I INTERRUPTED HIM AND ASKED HIM WHY I WOULD WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE WHO JUST LIED TO ME. HE IGNORED MY QUESTION AND CONTINUED HIS 'SCRIPT'. I HUNG UP.
