I have been getting calls from this same number and stating he"s taking me to court and that i owea payday loan and never have recieved any calls or made any loans from this middle eastern man someone please help!
I keep recieving calls from a middle eastern man stating I owe a loan and never heard of this company and wont give me any info on this company. Staing they are taking me to court.
This is a predatory scam caller. The MO is to call you repeatedly on any phone number they can get online and accuse you of being the subject of a lawsuit or a suspect in a serious crime and that if you don't pay up on whatever debt they say you owe, they will send a police officer to your workplace and have you arrested. My attorney says these types of calls are usually the result of some sort of debt collection (usually medical bills or some other debt through a collection agency) that have been outsourced overseas to collectors who are unfamiliar with or don't care about U.S. laws governing credit collections. You should just hang up on them, and they will eventually stop calling if they get no result. Arguing with them won't solve anything, as they don't understand enough English to get most of what you say, and they have been schooled in a particular speech and won't or can't stray from it.
The 818-351-8965 has been calling my work and threatening to take me to court for an America payday loan. I have NEVER set foot in one of these establishments and don't plan on it. They speak POOR english and claim they are from an Attorney's office. SURE THEY ARE. WRONG!!!! IF I was an attorney and had to hire people that spoke like them I would turn in my OWN business license. They are rude and should be SHUT DOWN. Just another scam to make themselves money. LOSERS. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF.
