This call came in on my cell phone. I did not recognize the number or the area code, so did not answer the call. After searching the number on-line, I found out it is a credit card scam!
I received a phone called from this phone number that started out "Hello this is Rachel from your credit card services. The phone I received the call on was my cell phone which I NEVER give the number out to any business purpose, just close friends and family. More importantly, I DO NOT choose to use or have credit cards to warrant any need for calls from my "credit card service".
I have a Call Control app on my cell phone, they are reporting this number to be a scam in that people using this number are phishing for people's personal information to for the purpose of taking one's personal identity.
HANG UP and do not give any information to these people. Do not call the number back as that gives them the information that you are the owner more or less of the phone number and that it is active.
If you use or can get the Call Control app for your cell phone, this number can be blocked from ever calling you again.
I got a call from the #830-250-4569 at 6pm tonight. Never recognized it so I didn't answer. Looked it up and surprised to see others are getting calls from this same #. They left no message. They need to go out and get a REAL LEGIT Job!!!! Blocked the # on my phone.... lets see how long that last til they get their next new number! Very annoying!!!
