I keep getting calls from them too!!! I finally answered, after their thousandth call, but they just hung up. This is some serious bull and I'm tempted to go postal on them.
This is a scam. They will call you and have your full name and address (either an old one or the current one) and they will want you to verify information. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!
All of the info they have is easily accessable through the internet whether you just moved or made a big purchase or bought a car/house.
Don't even answer the phone. If you can block it through your service provider, do so.
I received a phone call from them this morning and a woman named Danien spoke with me. She told me that I had applied for insurance 1 month and 3 days ago and that my application was approved. Then she confirmed my name, address, race, height, weight, skin, and hair color. She spoke very quickly and got annoyed when I tried to ask how I had applied for this (I honestly have no recollection of making an application). Then she asked me to confirm my credit card information so my account could be activated and she offered the first number on the account in question. I balked and got a call back number (800-747-6190 ext 1961). A google search links to a pescription drug site. But she had so much identifying information and was so pushy for my credit card that I told her to call me back tomorrow. The entire exchange reeks of fraud, and now I am concerned about how she found my information. Definitely dubious; be VERY careful.
I kept getting calls daily on my cell phone from this number and they never left a message. I finally decided to answer so I could ask them to stop calling. She claims I filled out some health insurance quote information online, which is true, but over a year and a half ago. I asked the woman to stop calling and she instantaneously got super angry with me and incredibly rude.
I told her again to stop calling and she kept yelling at me. She hung up on me. Turns out they are American Health Advantage which is a scam. If you look them up on Google, you'll see all the complaints. Don't answer, don't give any info.
