This number has called several times, when no one is home. They always say a name when the answering machine picks up and then "This call is being released due to no response."
Do they expect the answering machine to hold a conversation with them? There is never a name on the caller ID.
This call involved a man trying to bully me into paying off a debt that is nearly 20 years old. When I asked him to mail me the information so that I could look at it he told me I could access the info online, which is very fishy. I don't know if the debt actually is mine or not but I do know that no credit card company is trying to get $1000 after nearly 20 years. Clearly a scam as he had very garbled personal info about me and gave me 24 hours to agree to their terms or they would pursue a larger amount. I nearly laughed at him before he hung up on me.
This is a SCAM!!!! They called and left me a message to call them back so when my lawyer called them back they hung up on him because he would not give him any of my info.
